Summer you can always find me lounging by the pool, sunbathing for extra vitamin D and burning some extra calories swimming in the pool.

It’s a happy season. New couples have weddings, capturing a moment of happiness, but just imagine all the work involved, from choosing a venue, food, picking up a band or book a musician, and guests gifts. And there must be more.

Summer is when I’m planning a getaway, planing to hide from the heat, either run to the ocean or mountain, hide in a cave or a gold mine.

Summer is when I give our stove a break, and summer grilling is what I’m enjoying the most. Just writing about it, I’m already tasting in my mouth grilled peaches, with goat cheese and balsamic vinegar.

Summer is when I don’t quit working out, but I slow down my pace, since I’m also swimming in the pool and roaming the Earth and enjoying the outdoors most.

Summer is when I get mosquito and bug bites, and seriously, are all the bugs attracted only to me??? I swear, these buggers like only me, and the last camping trip we took past few days, I’ve tried 3 different bug sprays, from more natural ones, to seriously toxic ones, since I couldn’t escape. This time I only got a little more than 10 bites, but 2 years ago, on our last trip to Florida, I ended up with all my body in bites in 2 days, and stay in bed with Benadryl as my best friend.

Summer we get to watch so many fireworks shows, that 4th of July ones, don’t feel special anymore.

Summer has me sweating, so summer I do most loads of laundry, ironing and shoes washing.

Summer is when I get to eat the most ice cream, and even thought I stopped buying it and eat it in the comfort of my house, I try really hard to go plastic free in all areas possible, so I go and enjoy and ice-cream cone at least once a week from Oberweis.

Cheers to a fun summer, full of sunny days, many days at the pool, mosquitos free and many flavorful foods and good food, and of course good company.
