I personally became a micro influencer myself, after I’ve turned into a stay at home mom. As I’ve realized I was loosing my mind, I needed a relaxing hobby, so that’s how I first started Blogging, which then expanded to Instagram, YouTube and TikTok platforms.

What started as a passion, is slowly increased into a stay at home job, which gave me the freedom to raise my son, stay him home when he needed me the most (when he was sick, off school vacations, holidays, school days off, etc).

It was really hard to understand how to make some cash as a micro influencer at first, because all this area was new to the world and nobody was sharing the secrets, but with a little bit of trial and error, research and caution, I’ve learned these tips, that helped my hard work to become success.

SET UP A PROFFESIONAL / WORK EMAIL

I’ve fast realized that you need to separate personal life with work, so I’ve immediately created an e-mail just for work stuff, that I check almost daily. I’ve added this e-mail on all my social media platforms, and opportunities simply just come to me in my inbox (good or bad, scams too!). I filter these and always reply to what seems most genuine and important in no longer than a week.

JOIN AFFILITE MARKETING OR AMBASSADOR PROGRAMS

Almost all brands that I work with, they have an affiliate marketing area at the bottom of their website, where they usually offer you a way to create links or discount codes that you share with your followers/shoppers, and when some is using it to shop, you make a % of that sale. ChaChing!

CREATE SHOPABLE LINKS THAT WILL GIVE YOU CASH

Mostly used on blog content and Youtube on my part, whenever I share a product, I always include a link that gives me % of sales. Sometimes these links can be created without joining and Affiliate Marketing or Ambassador Program, which makes it time saving. Sometimes I do check which one gives me most cash (I choose between stores, or between becoming an affiliate or just a create a fast link).

GET PAID FOR CONTENT YOU CREATE (dedicated product content, mention, add a link, etc)

Like I’ve mentioned, most of my opportunities do come in my inbox, and they are invitations from brands who find my profile on these platforms, but I can also apply to other opportunities through these platforms that suit best my niche: JoinBrands , UpFluence, TheSocialCat , Intellinfluence

Sometimes having all the content on the phone, makes it easier to upload it to these app platforms, which make your life easier.

Now I’m pretty sure, so many influencers, don’t share all their ways to make cash, because they believe the market is limited in what it has to offer as opportunities, but I believe, there’s enough for everybody!
