PUUR INGRID is a Canadian brand that carries CERTCLEAN Certified products made in small batch only with clean, organic pure ingredients, completely free of chemicals and harmful toxins, cruelty-free, vegan and eco-conscious.

I was gifted these products by Puur Ingrid to try and share my honest opinion with you, so here we go:

SQUALANE ABSOLUTE $24.95 CAD 

Squalane  was originally sourced almost exclusively from the livers of sharks (ick), but now much of it comes from plants like olive oil, rice and sugarcane.

It maintains skin’s moisture barrier and hydration, and is also an antioxidant that has anti-aging properties for neutralizing environmental damage.

Squalane serves as a lightweight moisturizer and leaves skin hydrated, supple, and luminous. Because it’s so similar to your skin’s own oil, it tends to provide just the right amount of moisture without over(or under)doing it.

The PUUR Ingrid Squalane is just pure and simple Squalane without any other ingredients, no fragrance, and it feels like a very lightweight oil and gets completely absorbs into the skin. For me who I have really dry skin this time of the year, it felt like enough to keep my skin moisturized during a whole day. So if you prefer an oil without a scent, since it doesn’t smell like much, than this is for you! Great for all skin type and even amazing when combined with other oils, for extra benefits.

Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Squalane, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Vitamin C (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate), Glycerin (and) Water (and) Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Extract, Pelargonium Graveolens Leaf Oil 

The oil has a pleasant plant-y scent, is lightweight and I noticed almost the same experience as when I applied only the Squalane oil, but this oil probably has extra benefits since Evening Primrose oil moisturizes and enhances skin elasticity, Vitamin C helps your skin naturally regenerate and repair damaged skin cells, and Squalane penetrates deep into your pores to promote collagen production. My skin felt well hydrated during the day and I hope to see some improvements with fine lines and sun spots since I noticed them in the past couple of years more and more (ugh).

Detangle, de-frizz and deep condition with one simple spray.

Despite the confusing name (no, you don’t drink this 😉 ) this is an innovative hair detangled which I wouldn’t think it would be possible to be created with only natural ingredients.

Aqua/Water/Eau, Glycerin, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Lactic acid (and) Citric acid (and) Malic acid (and) Water (and) Saccharum officinarum (sugar cane) extract (and) Citrus limon (lemon) peel extract, Betaine, Gluconolactone (and) Sodium Benzoate (and) Calcium Gluconate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Cocoyl Proline, Citrus sinensis dulcis (Orange) peel oil.

Made with “a blend of essential oils, aloe juice and Glossyliance® “it claims to “soothe hair without weighing it down. Glossyliance is an innovative plant-derived extract and the ultimate active shine ingredient. Aloe juice smoothes and seals in moisture while the essential oils promote a healthy scalp and leave your hair smell heavenly. This revolutionary product will leave your hair feeling soft, lustrous and transformed.”

Having the consistency of water with a slight yellowish color, the bottle has a pray pump that mists just enough product out without being messy.It smells slightly and pleasantly like citrus and supposed to spray and comb it on dry or wet hair.No rinse needed.

My hair is extremely chemically processed, colored, styled and what not, and this products felt like just putting water in my hair.I tried to apply it on wet hair, dry hair, add more products, and still nothing! Bleah, so I guess this product didn’t worked in my hair at all. But I’ve had this kind of experience before with hair products and some of these products work well on not chemically processed hair! *please let me know if you have tried it and it rocks your life.

So overall I was very please to try these products, the frosted glass packaging made me absolutely happy, and the skin products definitely have a luxurious feel without the sky rocket price.
