I was recently introduced to jutti, a popular footwear choice in North India,
by SHOE O’CLOCK.
Jutti are handcrafted by some of the finest talent from Rajasthan & Punjab using genuine leather and some of the best embroidery work available in the market, inspired by Indian royalty over 400 years ago.
SHOE O’CLOCK jutti are made with soft leather and extra cushioning that first-time adopters of jutti will appreciate. Jutti do not have a left / right foot distinction; take your pick and the shoe will take the shape of your foot over time, making it truly unique to you!
My pair of jutti by SHOE O’CLOCK in Red Cherry design on golden ivory raw silk cloth and calf-skin soft leather.Embroidery is done using matte finished silver thread with a pop of bright red color silk thread to jazz up the cool tone of the jootis. The inner sole is lined with double padding for extra comfort.
These flats have proven to be really comfortable from the first try on, and they don’t feel weird, since they are not a pair(left&right).
Even that I don’t have an Indian influence in fashion, these cute flats are a great addition to any style and trend, and it can be easily dressed up or down.
