Now in its 7th year, the CertClean Clean Beauty Awards celebrates the best performing products — products made without harmful ingredients. Hosted by CertClean and supported by an eminent panel of judges (like me), the Awards is a global movement to recognize the clean beauty products that deliver results.
This year I review products in perfume, face serums, lip care and eye color categories, and I will all review them separately.
Here come the entries for CertClean Beauty Awards in the EYE COLOR Category:
I’ve tested the shade Platinum and I was impressed how easy is to apply. You just need the thinnest layer possible. It dries quickly and last up to all day, depending the season, heat, sweat, etc. If you don’t apply a think layer, it becomes crusty and it peels off. I do have a double lid, so the color came of in that area in 1hour or so, so I don’t recommend it in that case.
Sheer finish, buildable, great pigmentation. I’ve tried the Iced Amethyst color and it suits my hazel eyes best. Great eyeshadow, long lasting on the lids and you can use it light as a wash of color or build intensity.
Great pigmentation and I really like that these have multipurpose uses, from face and body to eyes, also can be used wet or dry.
The colors texture and feel is inconsistent between the colors. The matte colors feel drier versus shimmer which is more buttery and softer.
This eyeshadow didn’t work for me at all, if very light colored and even though I kept applying more and more, I feel it’s just vanishing away. I understand they are made for sensitive eyes but this doesn’t do anything as far as eye color goes.
The color CHAMPAGNE resonates more with a yellowish based color, this is more pinkish, so BALLET or something similar would fit best for a name. Also the color is so sheer and is almost like a wash of color especially when applied to the lids.
