CONSCIOUS Running Shoes

I’ve recently realized I need a new pair of sport shoes, since mine seems to warn off, so they are not safe to be used in a gym anymore, and the bottoms are slippery, so I was on the hunt to find a new pair of conscious running shoes.

My hunt was slow, and probably these are not the most perfect finds, and at this point I will take other suggestions, but here is what I’ve found:

NATIVE AP Mercury LiteKnit $90

Native is a PETA approved vegan brand,eco-conscious,.manufactured through a low energy emission process which produces zero waste and does not use any animal bi-products.

MOVMT Crescent $59.95

They pair eco-conscious materials with up-cycled plastic bags cleaned from Bali creating products that help protect our planet. They also support organizations like 5 Gyres who have systematically reduced plastics through oceanic research, collaboration and action.

ADIDAS Parley Ultraboost X Parley $200

Each pair reuses the equivalent of 11 plastic bottles. The shoe laces, heel cap base material, heel webbing, heel lining and the sockliner cover are also made with recycled materials. Its design is inspired by ocean waves, to reflect the shoe’s unique story and adidas and Parley’s commitment to end the cycle of pollution in the oceans.

Now I definitely plan to still walk with my old sport shoes for a while, and in the end will donate or recycle it.

Can you suggest another cool eco-conscious sport shoe?

Loving my planet,Laura

It’s a challenge and they actually have to perform too so it’s a little tricky.Don’t worry, just enjoy the new shoes as long as possible 🌈😙
